Is the chicken raw? Could my pet be at risk of salmonella?
Yes our freeze-dried chicken is raw. However, to ensure safety we use irradiation, a process which eliminates any harmful bacteria like salmonella without significantly altering the nutritional profile of the food. Rest assured knowing that Clawsy treats are as safe as they are delicious.
